Welcome to the NEW Blues Audience web site

me_and_magic_slim

My newest baby, the new and improved web site!

We have been working on this new site for a while and we want to know what you think when you navigate around.

There is no charge but you need to “subscribe” to the blog and then you can leave comments.

I hope it will be an active web site that will create community with the New England Blues fans, bands and clubs and festivals. So sign up and join in the conversation.

We have Big News, Blues archives of articles lots of history and information we have gathered over the past 24 years. We will bring up more archived material as we go along, there is a tremendous amount of info and just so many hours anyone can stand staring at a computer.

So check back frequently. It may be YOU in the spotlight that week.

If you are interested in receiving the print newsletter WONDERFUL! I would like to get more subscribers who like to have the actual pages in their hands (like me) OR if you are really hip, you can get the digital version sent to your email address. Either way you receive a great listing of a variety of the best in Blues in New England to pick and choose your weekend entertainment ahead of time so you can plan a nice night out. There is nothing more invigorating than the power of a live band. It gets your heart pumping and your feet tapping. It is good for your soul. So GET OUT! Maybe I will see you there.

The site looks great Diana! However, I would not have known to click your picture in order to reach the comments bar had you not said so in your email. Also, the response time to receive my password was very long (about an hour!)

Hey, thanks! If you look at the article about Costa Rica you can see the video from some guy but I also put up the pictures Susan took with the camera she found.

I love your new site except this whole comment thing is a little confusing to us old blues fans. Obviously I figured it out though. Thanks for all you do to keep the blues alive! Love to see more photos and some video. You need a “gallery” section

I just added video of the waters I was in, in Costa Rica. But that is not what you are talking about.
OK I will look thru but my videos aren’t top quality, but I will look.

Don’t worry if you ever do want to comment there is a dialog box at the bottom of all the articles.

Also, I agree with Flap that you need a more obvious way to leave a comment.

I don’t know the old site well enough to make a comparison. However, this new site is very intuitive, easy to use, great content, great links, great job!

Thank you for your observations we worked hard on this site and I almost gave up at one point. I am glad I did not, now!
